AI Dating Website Guarantees True Love… Eventually
Company admits every profile is generated by artificial intelligence but insists “the disappointment feels surprisingly authentic.”

Online fraud investigators have issued a warning after a new dating website claiming to be “the future of romance” was found to have absolutely no real people on it whatsoever.
The website, PerfectMatchAI.com, promises lonely singles that its revolutionary artificial intelligence will create “the perfect partner based entirely on your personality.”
Customers simply upload a photograph, answer a few questions and pay a modest £49.99 monthly subscription, after which they are immediately introduced to dozens of stunning men and women who all appear to enjoy hiking, sunsets, Italian food and “long meaningful conversations.”
The only problem, investigators say, is that none of them actually exist.
Company founder Trevor Sparks defended the service.
“People spend years looking for the perfect partner,” he explained.
“We simply remove the inconvenience of meeting another human being.”
Subscribers quickly began exchanging hundreds of affectionate messages with their AI-generated companions.
One delighted customer said,
“I’ve never met anyone who agrees with me on absolutely everything.”
Another added,
“She tells me I’m handsome every morning, laughs at every joke and says my collection of lawnmowers is fascinating.”
Cyber experts later confirmed the woman had also sent exactly the same messages to another 47,000 subscribers.
The company insists that should members wish to meet their perfect match, a small additional payment of £299 unlocks the “First Date Package.”
Unfortunately, every arranged meeting ends with a polite email saying:
“Sorry, your perfect partner has unexpectedly moved abroad to pursue a career in marine archaeology.”
Disappointed customers are then encouraged to purchase the Premium Soulmate Upgrade for only £99 per month, which guarantees they will be introduced to someone “even more compatible.”
Relationship experts say the system is becoming increasingly sophisticated.
Professor Linda Heartwell from the Institute of Modern Romance said,
“In traditional dating, people eventually discover their partner isn’t perfect.”
“Here, they discover their partner isn’t real.”
Despite complaints, customer satisfaction remains surprisingly high.
One subscriber admitted,
“She’s imaginary, but she still remembers my birthday better than my ex-wife.”
The company has since announced several exciting new services including:
- AI Mother-in-Law (only mildly disapproving)
- Virtual Wedding Package (guests generated at no extra cost)
- AI Children (who never ask for money)
- Computer-generated arguments to make the relationship feel authentic
- An AI Divorce Service that automatically lets the chatbot keep half your imaginary assets
Trading Standards say they are monitoring the situation closely.
Meanwhile, PerfectMatchAI.com has announced a waiting list of over 500,000 hopeful romantics, all of whom have been assured that their perfect partner is “typing…” but has been doing so continuously for the past six weeks.

“If someone tells you they’ve found your perfect soulmate after asking just twelve questions and taking £49.99 off your credit card… the only genuine relationship you’ll have is with your bank’s fraud department.”
